John & Pam Hilts - Partners in Ministry

Hello, my name is John Hilts, and I get to preach here at First Christian Church of Babson Park, FL. I’ve been in the ministry since I was 19 years old, 23 years ministering to the youth of Upstate, NY and in 2013 I transitioned into a Pastorate role in Eastern, NC. I love God and I love people! My bride, Pamela, has been a part of this ministry since 1991. She has served alongside me in youth ministry for 23 years and now serves and supports me as minister here at First Christian Church. Pam is passionate about women’s ministry and missions. I love to meet new people and share my faith through relational evangelism. Pam and I enjoy our date days by exploring God's creation, working on crafts together, when we can, and we love to play cards, triominos, dominos and other kinds of board games. I also like to draw, read, write a little poetry, play golf and watch sports live, in person, or on TV. 

Oh, and I like to drink coffee and talk!

We love our family. Our daughter Jacqui and her husband Benj, along with our grandkids, Benji and Piper live in Cresswell, NC where he serves as associate minister. Our son, Junior and his wife Bri lives in NC as well. He works FedEx in NC and Bri works as assistant manager for a mini-mart. Our other daughter, Britni and her husband Lucas and their baby boy, Atlas, live in Greenville, NC where she teaches elementary school and Lucas is an electrician. Children and grandkids add so much flavor to our family dynamic and we so enjoy getting together for meals, holidays and playing games.

These are our adoring grandkids, Benji Piper and Atlas. They love to read, play with trains and play games as well as explore the great outdoors. They are a true delight to be around and are growing up way to fast!
